Meet Joan Mitchell, CSJ

Sunday by Sunday began as the vision of Joan Mitchell, CSJ, 20 years ago.  Sister Joan has dedicated her life to the study and teaching of scripture.  She’s published religious education materials for more than 30 years with the majority of her work being lectionary-based.

Sister Joan is the editor of Sunday by Sunday and Spirit for Teens – weekly faith sharing magazines. Visit the online store of Good Ground Press to subscribe or request free samples.

In 2004, the Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondolet, St. Paul Province, elected Sister Joan to the community’s leadership team.  During this five year commitment, Sister Joan connected with Catholics from around the country. She is teaching scripture, leading parish retreats around the country, and most importantly writing.

Please email her with questions or comments about your small Christian communities, Bible studies, or faith sharing groups.

Sister Joan connects with Sunday by Sunday readers.

We hope you are, too!
